As i have mentioned in older article tumblr is great source of traffic, but to get most of it you need use automation software like TumblingJazz. This software is best in market with tons of features and great support!
Alternative you can just put url to the field and press scrape but one at the time so if you got many links first method is faster.
Since tumblr have limit 5000 users to follow you need to unfollow people. I recommend unfollow each few day but after first week of following to let people time to follow you. Great feature of blog is unfollow only people that don’t follow you back.
When you will have 5000 people followed this way you will have minimum 5000 followers but im sure many more because on nature of tumblr user follows blog with good content and reblog they post which means more followers for you. First we need some blogs (guide how to create them with TumbligJazz) where we will post our posts with links, these blogs need to look great so make sure you customize your blog add title and description pick up nice theme, since i got many mobile user i customize only the default theme. Be prepared that those blogs will be soon or later deleted so you can save titles and description for later use. OK lets say you are again in recipe niche so you make each blog for different kind of recipes eg cakes, pizza, healthy recipes etc. Each blogs should focus on different keyword on post to get in top search and get most of it.
Post picture/pictures (photoset) with description of recipe and add link to full recipe on your site or eBook. Dont forget to add click-trough link too and post title of course tag. Also create at last one blog where you will not post links only pics to have some natural looking reblogs later.
Repeat on each blog you will make. Now you will have ready blogs from where you will reblog posts.
Next step is customize other blogs from where will be main traffic coming. This is pretty simple select accounts you have created and set everything like avatars, usernames no need to be changed. If blogs have title Untitled change them you can use random name generator just google it. If you wish to change theme you can upload own otherwise no need to bother with this. Add some description that the blogs looks natural if you will have recipe niche stick with it. Setup queue and timezone depending when you want to post and where you live bet time is after 18 00 – most users are online, but you can use your own times.
Now when your will have your blogs customized you can start reblog posts from your blogs you made earlier. You can massreblog even others posts you found on tumblr by time to time to looks more natural. You can schedule your massreblogs or queue them also like some post from other can bring some traffic.
OK me setup is post one post per main blog and then massreblog it with other blogs 1-2 times per day with long time delay because many user are online in different times this will help increase traffic. Save your main blogs in txt file check reblog recent post if blog provided set number of threads (depends of number of your accounts for 100 is 20 fine you can go even to 10) if you wan to reblog each day in same time just set repeat in 24 hrs. You can do same with likes, this will make your post looks trending and popular which brings more traffic. Note: like post only once, reblogs can be more.
Since you now know how to automate posting and massrebloging you need to follow more and more people. With more accounts we need use Share across accounts feature, set number of thread depending of number accounts and select your unique list of users we made earlier. Also stet # max follow 170 x number of accounts. With 170 per accounts its should take one month to get 5000 people followed and get back at last 10 to 20%. As i mentioned before you can unfollow people during some days instead of following them.

Method How To Get Targeted Followers
Basically this same method as i wrote in this article but automated way much faster with less work.Step 1:
We need first find post(s) with targeted followers! We can do it automated way with scrape module or manually in tumblr search. I prefer this step manually to get the best result. So go to tumblr search and find top post in your niche/keyword/tag. If you are going use one account we need to create at last 6000 users to follow list. Again i will show example with recipe keyword, so there are many posts showing up now pick up as many as you need mine now show best post with 1000+ notes so we will take at last 8 of these because they count likes and reblog so it can be only 500 users and we need more. Copy all posts links in one txt file one per line.Step 2:
Go to your tumblr automation software and find scrape module. Insert txt filepath as is shown on picture and hit scrape. Then go to HELP>SAVED and it will open folder where will be all scraped users from those posts.Alternative you can just put url to the field and press scrape but one at the time so if you got many links first method is faster.
Step 3:
Wait until all users are scraped. It cant take some time if you have big list post with many notes. Now when all users are scrapped we need to create just one list with unique user because it can happen some users liked post 1 and 5 or so so there will be duplicates. Most easy way is use excel open and copy first scrapped list and paste it to excel now do it same with all of scrapped text files. Put them in same column and select them all (CTRL+A) then go to DATA>REMOVE DUPLICATES. Congratulation now we have unique list of targeted users to follow.Follow, Unfollow modules usage
Now with our unique list with user we start to follow them. Rules and limits to follow are mentioned in previous post.
