A private and secret funeral is held.

The double is warned of Avril's death, and is tasked with continuing the launch of the new album, playing the role of Avril and continuing the project where Avril had left off. She probably doesn't accept it at first, but she is certainly coerced. She begins to compose the remaining songs to complete the new album, and writes about everything that is happening in a hidden way in some lyrics. There are hidden messages of this type in several songs on the disc

On the cover she creates an analogy to the secret funeral through the photos and baptizes the album as "Avril Lavigne Under My Skin" (Avril Lavigne under my skin).

Evan Taubenfeld, Avril's friend and guitarist, finds out everything. The Avril look-alike asks for your help on the project. Evan shortly afterwards leaves the band and writes a farewell song and records it along with the double. In the song he says, "I'd never thought I'd lose my bestfriend" (I never thought I'd lose my best friend)

SOOIA is subjected to plastic surgery to correct any notable difference. She will need to assume the role of Avril even in presentations related to the new record.

2004 - Under My Skin is released.
